I don't understand why these people feel like the whole world needs to cater to them. If you have a disability and you know you're going to have a rough time at something, you just shouldn't go. I have an anxiety disorder where I have panic attacks at random times, so I just try my best to avoid shit like this because I know it's going to be a bad time. Maybe that's just wisdom coming with age or something though.

That's not saying venues shouldn't try to help people, but from my experience a lot of these people want the entire crowd and venue to cater to their whims.

I worked with autistics for a few years and I've never known any of them need anything like this except the non verbal ones with severe learning difficulties. I'm all for letting these dudes do their thing but they are very disruptive and if you have to sit near them you should get a free bag of goodies. Usually the parents will end up dragging them out because they're pissing everyone off and grabbing their food and drinks, but sometimes they stay for the entirety and everyone in their vicinity has their experience ruined.

Movie theater doesn't bother me much since you're sitting in the dark and really you notice that a lot of people go alone. Something like a wrestling show, concert, or sports game is awkward as shit though because there's NEVER single people at those and you can always see people shooting you weird looks.
