The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls.

The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass.

I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
The 12 Apostles of the Lamb
first, Simon, who is called Peter,
and Andrew his brother;
James the son of Zebedee,
and John his brother;
Philip (Where Philippines Pearl of the Orient is named after) and
Bartholomew;
Thomas and
Matthew the tax collector;
James the son of Alphaeus, and
Thaddaeus;
Simon the Zealot, and
Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
