In hindsight Cody would have been a better choice to end the streak but overall the streak is more of a foonote since it wasn't even mentioned for a majority of it's existence and hasn't been important in the long term since it ended.

For me personally I'd have liked to see someone like EC3 or Kross do it because they will be made after that. Reigns would have made sense before he became cena 2.0.

Break the streak when it becomes noticeable and just have taker keep racking wins at mania but with actual storylines that go beyond MUH STREAK. Orton could’ve just been that unlucky #13 for years.

WM 21 was basically the graduation for the remaining top members of the OVW class of 2002.
Batista, Cena, AND Orton all winning their big matches is what should’ve happened as the guard was changed that night.
