>>10896125No jannetty. It’s Bret (MoP) vs Shawn (RiP). RiP is overrated on the mic and the lyrics aren’t good, but Friedman’s solos are so unique and flashy that they carry some solid riffs. However, most of the songs on the album, I forget I’ve heard them. Bret is MoP. A classic that might not be edgy enough for the diehards, but is a staple, a true 10/10 that we can always go back to as a reference for what a true 10 is. Not as flashy as RiP’s wild guitar work, but the riff work is impeccable, there’s never a low moment, and it has a dark legacy as Cliff’s final record that makes it feel more important. Overall, I’ve always liked both, but I’m always gonna give the edge to Bret.
