It really has done almost everything right. I think only one episode so far was a stinker but it still held my attention. If they keep this up for a few months I can see them building on their viewer base.

It's actually not much different from Dynamite but it has longer matches that have way more near falls than needed
Collision seems to have a bit better ring psychology with how it starts in a collar and elbow for example instead of just doing a shitty routine and a standoff afterwards

This. If they stick to this format and distinction consistently I think it'll actually get the ratings up, but it'll take a good few months at least. The different style of presentation and no ADHD booking does the show a lot more favors than featuring Philletty or FTR or whatever.
