First off, that was a combo ticket for both Smackdown AND Survivor Series, so it's a PPV in Chicago, so of course it's going to do well.
Second, I was checking tickets both Wednesday and Friday, during the presale and actual sale, and Ticketmaster shockingly enough never once did their stupid "official platinum" thing where they jack up the price of the good seats because they can, like they're doing with those AEW tickets.
Third, WWE is at the Allstate Arena which always does well due to its proximity between the city and suburbs and being right near the airport. It's also an extremely tiny arena compared to most modern ones, with a capacity of like 11,000 for wrestling. I'm surprised they even still run there for these reasons, and they probably should do the long entry no screen set up to maximize ticket sales.
And finally, Collision fucking sucks, so I'm not surprised they're failing to fill up the cheap seats of the much bigger, harder to get to United Center.
