>>10914945You really need to find a sweet spot between a bunch of nerds booking themselves to throw hadokens in the ring and the autocratic rule of a demented old man who wants to fuck his own daughter. You need to have a strong creative direction, but you also need checks and balances along the way and the show can't be run entirely by one insane motherfucker who laughs his ass off every time he sees a 300lb man dancing. Lucha Underground had the right idea imo. They treated it more like a tv show, so the entire thing was booked by a small group of writers who knew what they were doing but were still open to taking ideas from the wrestlers themselves if they were good.
