My favorite wrestler is "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and this is one of my favorite pictures of him. I really liked him in TNA after I got bored of WWE. I also saw him live a couple times and even at the nearly empty TNA house show I went to the guy gave 100% to entertain. His promo/charisma is super underrated as well. He is a bit awkward with words but his promos have always felt like old school wrestling promos and he always seems committed to kayfabe when on screen. GOAT tier in ring-athlete but not a mark for himself either. always humble and always a draw

yeah a lot of people seem to enjoy doing that haha. I don't really watch much wrestling these days either, just the occasional youtube clip. I still really like pro wrestling though, just not so much whats on now

My favorite wrestler is Iyo Sky. To me she is more than a wrestler, she is my entire life. She has inspired me in such a way no wrestler has before. Iyo Sky is proof that with hard work and persistence anything is possible, that you can get over the constant hurdles and achieve success in any situation, in her case success in a company that hasn't been easy at all for foreigners. She fought through injuries, loneliness, depression, the death of her cat, rumors of her being fired and none of those things ever made her give up on her dream of becoming a WWE womens champion! A year ago she was out with a broken ankle and her future was unclear. Nobody back then would've ever imagined she would achieve the success she has in such a short amount of time! This is why Iyo Sky is my favorite wrestler. While others may like a wrestler because of the dimes they draw or cooming purposes, very little wrestlers can truly inspire and Iyo inspires. She truly is the ACE!

Loved wrestling as a little kid and liked all the "monsters" like Kane and Undertaker and Gangrel. I loved Mankind and loved Mr. Socko and I shoot thought he was Al from Home Improvement. We never bought the PPVs but I saw Austin help him defeat The Rock on tv as a child.
So fast forward past my lapsed fan years and the NXT buzz is one of the things pulling me back in. I see Owens slam Zayn on the edge of the ring and I feel like a kid again. He's a fat piece of shit like Foley, but he's moving a lot faster and doing a lot more. Eventually Owens reaches the top, gets a legendary reign with Jericho at his side. The two of them go on to put on the greatest betrayal segment of all time.
Owens is an established star now and he eventually adopts the Stunner. All of a sudden he's stunnering heels and helping other faces like Austin and Foley switched places or something.
Eventually he main events the larger drawing night of Wrestlemania in a match against Stone Cold Steve Austin. And then he main events the first night again the following year because this canuck is a goddamn draw.

Angle. I didn't understand the concept of face/heel when I got into wrestling as a little Jimmy. Just saw a dude with American Hero gimmick and thought he was dope as hell. He was funny and it was it was obvious he was good wrestler. When I got wise to the business, it just confirmed everything I knew. Iyo. First woman that ever convinced me that there were chicks out there that were worth watching as more than eye candy. Looked up old Joshi stuff in the past but it never really grabbed my attention. They were better workers sure but they weren't cute and I don't worship gook shit just because it's gook shit. If I can't understand it, I can't get into it. Then I saw that gauntlet match on Lucha Underground with Kairi and Maya and frankly, neither of them impressed me (granted it was the match layout but still) and I was ready to write them all off right then and there. But the second she took that dropkick from Penta on that handspring spot, I knew she was different. The high spots that followed were just icing on the cake.
