Was the CIA really involved in wrestling television as it related to the Attitude Era? Someone on here claimed to have asked Russo about it and Russo said he couldn't talk about it. Ed Ferrara left the business entirely and has scarcely said a word since departing.

pretty sure the idea was to capture the rebellious attitudes of Americans and bottle it into a product.
part of it was the glorification of thugs and gangsters, criminal like behavior being standard fare for the babyfaces. steve austin attacks his boss, disrespects all authority, and stands against anyone and everyone.

NWO are quite literally an allegory to the Jewish cartel that runs the world, does what they want, and is rewarded endlessly for criminal gang like behavior.
I'm not so sure I believe it but what I do know is that everything on TV happens for a reason. Wrestling being so popular during the era of garbage crash TV that glorified evil, it certainly does line up.

I guess the idea is that the CIA has the last word on all manner of propaganda sources and so therefore it would make sense that wrestling would have been on their list of top programs to influence and subvert.

I've seen people say that Steve Austin was all about getting people who are rowdy and belligerent inside to act out more, and end up committing crimes which will put more people into the prison industrial complex, because in real life, you can't act like Stone Cold Steve Austin towards your boss/associates
