He showed up to help coach Eddie Thorpe, who was feuding with Damon Kemp, Gable's shoot little brother. In their Underground (shoot) match, Gable got involved and suplexed a bunch of students after the match.

So that brought up the question of if he's part of NXT, given that he still has viable options outside of pro wrestling.
