Austin does deserve some of the blame though, since he underestimates how far Vince will bury talent for the smallest thing. I think Austin being a top guy makes him not see how hard it is to be a wrestler in current WWE where everything is scripted and going against the script is basically grounds for being fired. He thinks people can just break out and be a top star by speaking out and doing their own thing but he seems to not realize that if you get yourself over, you're pretty much going to be beat every week and embarrassed.
