Most of his WCW matches were ruined with shitty finishes and booking thanks to Russo and Sullivan. The 1996 War Games is good.

Hogan vs Rock was one of the best matches I've ever seen. Hogan understood how to get the crowd invested in a match, he was 75% promo but he could work to back it up.

Hogan vs Lex Luger was really good. It was the payoff of Luger going from Sting's asshole friend to stepping up as the guy to face down Hogan after everyone else has gotten chewed up or joined the nWo. Good selling, good action, crowd is on fire for the whole thing too.

Hogan vs Goldberg was also good. It was really the match that put Goldberg to the moon and the payoff is great. The psychology of the match is actually solid and almost plays like a babyface Hogan match except the fans are behind the monster heel.

Hogan vs Piper at Starrcade was also good. Both guys are on the cusp of being over the hill but still able to bring it. You get to cheer for Piper heeling it up and Hogan is a 10/10 chickenshit heel when he wants to put that on.

the match he had with bret on nitro was going really good until whatever the hell happened.
technically hogan won by submission but anyway. bret couldn't continue and got replaced, that's a forfeit or a submission in my book.
