His first return was ridiculously successful…highest PPV buy rates, still the biggest merch seller in company history, attendance went up.

It’s the law of diminishing returns…didn’t feel as special, he looked mediocre, etc. Now he’s on a show with a bad time shot when the company has been on a year long downturn.

Too much tv. Punk constantly doing goated angles, matches and interviews. But when it’s 20 minutes of 5 hours of tv, and the rest is crap, people just aren’t gonna struggle through the rest.
Until Tony is ready to dump the elite and hire an experienced bookers AEW is doomed.
