the irony is that he's more likely to get genuinely over in the position he is now than over on the trainwreck show. he's getting chances to show what he can do without it going too far but getting sympathy by getting his ass beat by the heels, and he stands out more on collision because he's the designated gymnast in a field where guys aren't doing much high-flying flippy stuff.

Punk's trying to kill everything the elite build. He was attacking other people for not showing up to work in his promo too. This was a shot at the elite and/or BCC who weren't on the last dynamite. Though it was a dumb one as TK just didn't book any of them.

Getting "squashed" on collision does a lot more for connecting with the audience on an emotional level than botching your way through a long match on dynamite.
