Cornette generalises Asian wrestlers because NJPW has a very distinct presentation and damned near every Asian wrestler who comes over to the states works that NJPW style which just doesn't connect with the majority of Americans.
He makes sweeping judgements about fans of joshi wrestling because almost every joshi has some cute schoolgirl gimmick (again, catered to the Japanese audience) and looks underweight for wrestling, almost like a little girl.
It doesn't help that the favourite wrestlers of that special audience of Americans who like joshis have been in the ring wrestling 9-year old girls and blowup dolls.
