pure shit. nobody cared about old farts like dusty or the road warriors in 2001. foley as team wcw makes no sense, unless you have him tagging with funk who attacks him during the match to turn foley face and align with the wwf. sting and rock wouldn't work, you don't want fans to start booing wcw's biggest star at that point. you wanna see the steiners throwing people around and doing suplexes and they can't do that with beeg and kane, put them with the hardys instead.

I tried balancing star power of the time with realism. Road Warriors would be okay as part of a 4 way tag match. Hall and Nash needed opponents and Jericho/Benoit would be good babyfaces against them in Canada.

depending on how it was built towards, people's champ vs people's champ would have drawn. hogan could easily have worked into a program siding with either Bischoff and the NWO or Vince and the WWF.

Cornette's a shitty booker. The height of his promoting career was putting on shows for a few hundred people in Kentucky High School gyms. He's completely overrated and nearly tanked WWF in the '90s when he was part of the creative team with is NWA nostalgia and race war bullshit.

I was too once a retard like all of you and thought this was a bad card. But know I understand this wasn't a last hurrah of the Monday Night wars, people were already becoming ashamed of having watched the attitude era's trash tv, and were already tuning out.
This was to bring back the fans across the country who lost their weekly live wrestling events in the 80s. And I can say without a shadow of a doubt this would have done this. Would have caused an actual boom and not an artificially inflated like we saw in the late 90s.
