Used to be WWE fans were still wrestling fans, and wrestling fans still followed WWE to some extent even if it wasn't their favorite company. No longer. You're either one or the other with no crossover.

AEW fans are familiar with NJPW, Impact, AAA, various indies.

WWE fans only ever watch WWE. Even if they happen across a clip of a wrestler they might like their first instinct is to say "I hope he comes to WWE!" instead of just watching that wrestler in the company they already work for.

It's been like that for a long time. WWE-only fans are the most obnoxious of all, and that hasn't changed in 30 years. They are literal manchildren. As for the ones who watch WWE but also like other things, there couldn't be too many of those left.

I'm familiar with all of those and think they all suck ass with Impact being the only semi bearable one therefore I only watch WWE. The problem is that wrestling is very dead and has been for decades. Every wrestling company with even a little bit of relevance that isn't the WWE only caters to the ""hardcore"" internet fans who want to see choreographed video gayme soiyper hero type wrestling matches. There's obviously a place for that in wrestling as there's clearly a small group of people that actually enjoy that shit, but there's almost no alternative (or at least no good alternative) to some good old classic wrestling where two massive personalities have a realistic looking wrestling match that isn't a cringefest. We need another WCW or mid 2000s TNA but that'll never happen since not just wrestling but literally everything else in the whole world became incredibly fucking boring and one note after like 2010.

Are you saying I'm wrong? Why else are they doing shit like this then? This is LITERALLY the kind of shit I would do in Smackdown HCTP with my friend growing up, retarded comical spots that break every last inch of kayfabe. Not saying modern WWE matches look much better either but at least theyre not this bad
