You can't. But there's enough smoke to the fire that Cody had a falling out with the rest of the Elite and maybe Khan himself. It was super obvious due to him existing in a vaccum on the AEW shows.

The issue was pay. After the baby was born Cody started worrying about his finances alot more.

Cody thought he deserved more than Jericho and Punk. Tony didn't feel Cody was on the same level as those two and didn't make an offer close to what Cody was asking for. Tony made a few more attempts to keep Cody even after his contract was up but Vince was willing to give Cody about double what Tony was offering.

I think that basically everything we've heard whispered about the whole ordeal is probably true.

Also to add to this, Kenny and The Bucks are also asking for Punk level money on their new contracts which is why they have been feeding Meltzer claims that they may leave. WWE doesn't see either of those three on Cody's level though.

It was pretty clear from the start that he wanted to be separate from the rest of the elite. There were a couple of cases, like last minute of the first episode, where he tried to run in to save a beat down on the elite but he was mostly separated from them.
