For me the only time I got worked hard enough by someone was when I worked at a paint store. Old boomer started cutting a promo on me for not carrying his paint (lead paint from the 1960s). I told him there was nothing I could do, but then he just started insulting me so I told him “Oh I’ll go find your paint” and walked to the warehouse and stood there for an hour.

Both of us were so hardheaded that neither gave in. Old man stood there yelling for the entire hour. I was pissed and didn’t go back (working a chickenshit heel gimmick). Eventually after over an hour he gave up and left.
