Also AEW uses entirely too many popular songs as wrestler's themes. It's okay if 1 or maybe 2 of your top stars use a famous song, if and only if it fits their character, but when half the roster does it, it's overkill. The most egregious example is "Don't you cry no more" - great song but it is absolutely not a wrestling theme song. Intro and bridges are way too long for a walkout theme. If Tony weren't a total retard he'd have someone edit it to fit better. On top of that I don't see any connection between that music and the Elite characters. Then you have the midget Orange Cassidy using not 1 but 2 classic rock songs - and I know he used the current one on the indies but the other one at least fit his character better. Then of course there's Phil who ruined Cult of Personality for all wrestling fans but at least it fit him well in WWE before he exposed himself in UFC. I wouldn't have a problem with Bryan Daniel using Final Countdown if everyone else in AEW wasn't also using popular music. Claudio and now Jack Perry use well known public domain instrumentals that don't fit them at all. Collision using Saturday is contrived. Jon Mpxley using Wild Thing isn't so bad except it's a blatant ripoff of Ricky Vaughn and again, parts of it should be cut out to better fit a walkout but Tony is a retard. And now RVD is coming out to Walk which maybe worked in ECW but doesn't fit him now. There is just zero restraint from the billionaire bitch-boy when it comes to indulging in songs for his toys. All it is missing is Michael Cole to say "How cool is that?!" during entrances. I wonder which song he will eventually choose for himself when he becomes a character.
