When he's against Cornette though, his taste for trash tv and the worst parts of his creative skills does come to light. Cornette does take wrestling seriously, and it can come across as childish in his relationship with Russo, but in other episodes about wrestlers he discovered, managed or pushed, I think his true passion is much more touching. The episode about Candido for example. Cornette can appear austistic about wrestling, but he was also involved with it much more deeply than Russo or Meltzer ever were.
