Trying to push women as equal in relevance to men is catastrophic on a majority male roster.
Women were always a sideshow division but the last almost 10 years have dedicated itself to treating this sideshow division as a main attraction. The result is not enough time to build the characters of various stars of both genders and everyone is significantly more bland than ever.
If people actually cared about women’s wrestling, they would watch and invest in actual women promotions
