Yeah, he's the money mark, but the emphasis on "mark". Everyone sings his praises because they're paid to do so and if Tony likes you, ya get a pay increase when you re-up.
There's no upside to tell your mark (Tony) that he's doing a bad job or needs some creative help. That's probably how Pillman Jr. got fired.
