Just looking at WWE champions over the 30 years, seems the average is like 16 televised per year and then much more on dark where workhorses like AJ get in like 111
It's unfair to include the stuff from 80s and before but i will anyways: Hogan's famous 1474-day reign had 171 televised defenses and 475 total. Savage's year reign was 24 televised 132 total. Billy Graham also got a year and had 142 defenses, and big daddy Sammartino had 665 in seven years.
