I watched SummerSlam with two guys that know their shit about wrestling and before watching it I had absolutely no interest in wrestling, now I don't think it's that bad, what would you do to push me over the edge to turn me into a full-on fan?

Watch a better show. Literally any other PPV event from this year, particularly Money in the Bank or Backlash. I can't imagine even as a new fan you enjoyed the main event, it was just slow as fuck with nothing happening most of the time.

After the show finishes watch some highlights on the WWE page and find whatever characters or storylines you like then just watch PPV's at first. If you get more into it then you might get into the habit of watching the shows live.
