WWE insider here:
The story about Asuka having a meltdown after her SummerSlam match is not only true, it was a lot worse than what SRS was going to report.
I heard that it got pulled after Asuka threatened legal action against not just SRS, but every dirtsheet writer that dared to report it. I'm telling you this because quite frankly, I don't want to work for WWE anymore.
Anyway, after her match, Asuka insulted Charlotte and accused her of being jealous that her father likes Asuka better than his own child, while also accusing Bianca of being unprofessional by playing backstage politics to get the finish changed. They nearly got into a physical altercation, but were pulled away just in time before any violence occurred.
The same could not be said for her and Iyo however. Iyo was confronted by an absolutely unhinged Asuka who abused Iyo by calling her something along the lines of a "Traitorous Stardom Slut" and an "Opportunistic scumbag". Iyo responded back by calling her an "Old washed up crone" and "dead weight".
The two continued to exchange personal insults before they briefly came to blows after Asuka screamed something which translates to, and I do not make this up: "YOU SHOULD HAVE RETIRED WITH A FUCKED UP NECK, NOT MIO!"
The two almost came to blows again when they reached their hotel rooms after more personal insults were exchanged, this time Asuka clearly being under the influence of alcohol. I don't know the exact details, but I do believe that Vince McMahon was brought up.
Later, I was told that Asuka knocked on the door of Iyo's hotel room at 3 in the morning, completely drunk and demanded Iyo to: "Come out and fight her properly!" to no response before storming back to her hotel room.
The last bit about Asuka drunkenly calling Kairi to abuse her for coming back to WWE is also true.
Needless to say, Asuka has lost a lot of respect backstage after SummerSlam and I would be surprised if she even sees out the year in WWE.
