>>11096825>Awesome Truth Tag team. Happened during Punk's best run. What more was Miz supposed to do? A tag title run? Beat Punk (lol no, I can't stand Punk nowadays but his 2011-13 stint was already mishandled and blown, losing to Miz would have been even worse and the timing wouldn't let you swap Miz into del Rios spot).
The best you could do is another feud for the WHC with Bryan, but Bryan was set turn heel and if you'd gone that route Bryan would have spent way too much of his initial 2 years exclusively working with Miz. They booked the whole roster to go on strike over Awesome Truth idk what else you do with that pairing.
>Dude was over with a large segment of the audience and they would always just use it rather than capitalize on it.Not disputing he was over but please give me an example of how you could have capitalised on it better and when there weren't better/hotter alternatives who would have lost more from not getting the spot than Miz lost from not getting it. Specific times and examples. I'm a huge fan of Miz, I think maybe you could have given him another brief title run circa 2018-19 or 2021 but it wouldn't have been long and there were alternatives with more potential but also more vulnerability to fizzling out if you didn't capitalise on them.
Mizs reliability is exactly why you don't need to do more with him. You want over, engaging acts all through the card, the peak of the Monday Night War had this for both WCW and WWF. There's other guys who don't have that reliability and you have to capitalise in the moment (Ryback being a good example, I never liked him but he got super over and they blew it). Miz doesn't have that vulnerability, he IS capitalised on by always being featured and always providing a good segment wherever he is in the show.
>That's nice dearOkay. Punks 1yr reign, Cena on top forever, Orton etc. You don't have to be a perennial main eventer or prolonged title run is the point.
