He claims Fightful are seeding belief online that WWE might have interest in signing a talent, before they inevitably either sign or re-sign with AEW, which can then be presented as AEW being a more desirable destination than WWE, when in actuality, WWE might of had little or no interest in the talent at all, or may have been restricted in expressing interest given the WWE/MLW Lawsuit.

Impact got this guy back after years of not having magnus, a guy who was over as hell with TNA audiences. Immediately lets him go after 1 angle. The guy is legitimately a TNA veteran with name cache for the audience that watches impact.

If WWE was interested in Pillman like The Elite, they wouldn't have signed him to a low level NXT contract and he would have been on TV last night. That tells you that no, they weren't actively looking to get him, and that's why nobody talked about it.
