Nah the gay chav thing is fucking massive in the UK. So many chavs are gay but also grow up super homophobic so I remember back in school and college and that they'd always do shit like suck each other off in the shower and stuff after football 'for banter' or get drunk and kiss and give each other handies to show how straight they are. There were a couple of proper rough pubs near me (one closed down recenty actually) where some of these chavvy lads I went to school with drink and they are proper rough but also proper gay, they got glory holes in the cubicles tier gay and you can feel the bender energy when you walk in, but if you acknowledge any of that you'll get glassed in the face.
