Bash at the Beach 2000

No.11104694 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
So between Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo who was really in the wrong here?

>Be Russo
>3 months into being put in charge of creative you're already complaining how WCW isnt paying you nearly enough to be here after you just left a rival company that you were also complaining wasnt paying you the same way they were paying Austin and Rock
>Get invited to a "Talent Debriefing" meeting where you bring up a hypothetical question on who would be best suited to hold a Championship whom at this point had zero value
>Everyone in the room, allegedly according to Russo said Booker T. No explanation elaborated on as to why
>Since this was clearly more of a hypothetical question instead of a request, most of the people at that meeting probably dont take what they said seriously
>Bischoff is apparently called in to Tard Rangle Russo because Russo is complaining how the NWO is filled with stubborn Boomers with Substance Abuse Problems and Anger Issues
>Bischoff is having back alley private meetings with Hogan and other members of TBS and TNT that he wants to just straight up buy WCW because he thinks the NWO brand has now officially outdrawn the WCW brand and its time to throw away the longstanding legacy of one to justify the other
>It is abundantly clear that Hogan and Bischoff were already discussing this long before Bash at the Beach even happened
>Bischoff's stupid "tournament" where Hogan would apparently vacate the championship only to win the Championship back as a means of gaslighting the marks into accepting the NWO as babyfaces again believing truly this would work without question

You unironically wanna side with Bischoff when it comes to him shooting down Russo's stupid ideas because none of them are practical but at the same time Bischoff's overreliance on the NWO was the real reason why WCW was eventually bought by Vince.
