>>11109110I grew up in the northeast and I autistically loved ECW as a kid. That tag match is probably my favorite match from back then but watching it as an adult there’s a lot of botches. It’s impressive because they had never wrestled each other and didn’t speak each others languages and shit. Haybusa never wrestled in America and KWAB’d himself eventually so it’s awesome to see but it’s way sloppy compared to even RVD/Sabu vs The Eliminators or Lance Storm/Candido.
Meltzer would have given the Jerry Lynn matches 5-6+ stars for sure if he was rating them as lenient as he does now. Probably not that tag match but it’s chock full of SOVL which is more important than Jewish stars.
