It's dumb and just further buries ROH. Cole and MJF get a tag title shot without even competing in the New ROH and it's going to be on the pre-show, instead of on ROH or on the main show.

Is MJF meant to be an unironic babyface in this team? The whole thing feels like a wink nudge PWG parody of wrestling tropes from tag teams and tag finishers to "rivals team up" and I'm assuming the idea is they both hate each other and are trying to make the other lower their guard by being buddy buddy? The little I have seen has felt obnoxiously ironic in general down to the overproduced over edited vignettes so Im not sure.
