I don’t take things too serious anymore, but there’s something I just don’t get. Hangman not being featured or prominent for All In is kinda wild to me. The person the Bucks wanted to make “the guy”. You can not like his wrestling or even because of tribalism stuff, but his background is a good story, he’s extremely well spoken, etc. What they did after he won the title pissed me off, but that’s an entirely different story. Early 30’s southern kid from a town population 1,000, former public school teacher, supports real-life shit their core audience believes in, talks to you like a human and not a wrestler, etc. After all the drama, still gets big pops. It makes zero sense to me.

Tony was never behind him and pulled the rug out from under him almost immediately. To get something over everybody in the company needs to be on the same page (no pun intended) and it's obvious that they just weren't. It's amazing to think that Hangman was one of the most over guys in the company at one point. It sorta feels like Jack Perry has taken up Hangman's spot of being the workrate Dynamite guy with a long term project associated with him. In fact, Hangman vs Jack Perry sounds like a great match to do.

Also worth pointing out that he was at the center of the shitstorm Punk thrust into the public eye and to this day Hangman's never said a word about it

>BUT HE WAS FRIENDS WITH THE DARK ORDER! THEY WERE THERE FOR HIM WHEN NO ONE WAS! Yeah, I'm beyond over that shitty angle at this point. Time for a change. Make Hangman wear Hawaiian shirts and put him with Ethan Page, they can be the Page Boyz or some shit.

His booking has always been odd though. He's rarely ever around for various reasons or often no reason at all to the point that you can forget he even exists sometimes even when he was champ.
