Vince likely considers her as one of his creations due to her having no notoriety in the USA before WWE.
That makes her a WWE Original, which means employment for life and part of the inner circle.
She's also pretty good friends with Becky and Charlotte, both of which also wield a lot of political power now.
Not saying Vince would choose her over Shawn, but Asuka definitely has some pull in WWE overall.
If she wanted a mid-carder buried bad enough it would happen.
