you guys really don't get how irrelevant pro wrestling is in Japan, it was never less popular than it's now yes you have dozens of promotions and 80% of them can't draw over 500 to their shows plus no national tv exposure NJPW having time slots that air after midnight are meaningless people here still have this romanticized image of 90s Japanese wrestling or some of you do at least

yeah let me not on that topic, joshi wrestling is niche of a niche even with Stardom doing kinda ok but still there's zero mainstream appeal and it's been that way with all Japanese wrestling for quite some time, like pro wrestling in the US is also not mainstream but compared to the current Japanese scene it's almost like the Monday Night Wars
