Basically modern far-leftism has replaced actual leftism. Everyone viewed to be outside is a enemy and the moderates follow suit. It has gone so left in the spectrum it's opposed to foundations of itself.
What used to be a leftist ideology, having an actual functioning state to be leftist in, is now considered haram. It got replaced with a blended mixture of open border - free pass for criminals psychopathy, money grows from trees - electricity comes from the plug stupidity, letting insane people cut their body parts and force others to use their made up terms they invent for themselves because just being a faulty human is too much to bare for them.
