When Kenny was a heel and the belt collector, Don was his manager because Don is obsessed with living vicariously through the success of others. Kenny is now face and Don is a heel who is recruiting people Kenny has history with or ongoing rivalries with. So, does that clear that up for you, champ?

I can get this much just by looking but there's no reason why Ospreay and Jay White should do his bidding or even work with him. Ospreay isn't even a heel and Jay is a narcissist. Don's character is that he markets himself as a big player who can make things happen. Though Will Ospreay might be a face in Japan, he does have an ongoing feud with Omega which has yet to be settled. Don could offer Ospreay something, but in exchange would like him to do him a little favour in case things go sour with Jericho - which they did. Also, perhaps just like the match between Jericho and Omega helped raised their stock, Don could be promising to do the same with Ospeary.

They just want the company to deliver a big enough show in terms of scale, scope, quality, and most importantly they want something that makes them feel important.
