if you're heavy into wrestling history, he's an all-time great but there's dots to connect. like he was legit the first anti hero character against the establishment. stone cold has admitted he patterned his character after diesel when kevin left.

the nwo run works on its own, but should gain him even more accolade when you learn he and scott basically booked everything about the angle that worked, including how hogan should act as a heel.

i feel like hes one of the larger reasons wrestling podcasts are a thing, too, with all his shoots and radio interviews with jr.

As one of the greats of the late 90s, yeah. The ramifications of the nWo are still felt today.
Other than that, I can’t remember a single promo he’s cut or a match he’s had because he’s boring in those regards. Very overrated as a mic worker.
