He’ll probably get it if he was ever to come to AEW. Not saying he will, but Edge knows where some funky bodies are buried. Guy was brought into the company with a halo on him and everyone knew he was going to be THE guy sooner rather than later. He’s the most decorated wrestler in history despite being made of papier-mache and never really being more than B+ in any area. He s holding some very vile information in his noggin, probably Pat Patterson related, but the scope of his career tells me it’s Vince.

Well, other than that he can't actually work as "Edge" elsewhere. There's fuckall WWE can do if, say, Sexton Hardcastle or Adam Impact uses Metalingus.

WWE doesn’t have that trademarked for wrestling. The word is is so tied up in copyright and trademark battles that have nothing to do with wrestling that it was a nightmare to even get what they got. Edge is trademarked for merch only. You can look it up on any trademark search. If you were to check The Rock for instance or Doink the Clown you’d see it says something like
>entertainment services, wrestling exhibitions etc etc
That’s not the case for Edge. They even let the Rated-R superstar trademark lapse.
