Wrestling for a long time during the early 1900s up until the late 80s presented itself as tough people who were actually fighting. Towards the 90s the cat was out of the bag, but they still presented themselves as guys who fight. Today it's prima donnas protecting their "spot" on the card because evereyone now know wrestling is just drama for boys and teenagers. Nobody is particularly concerned if they look even remotely like a legitemate fighter, they care whether they are perceived as watchable by the fans. Miz is a tool. Dolph Ziggler looks like a lesbian. Kevin Owens looks like an 8 year old bully victim. Female wrestlers either look like porn stars or are morbidly obese. The women's world champion looks like she would shoot heem the male world heavyweight champion. How can anyone expect the average fan to get behind a program that is supposed to be about wrestling, when the actual wrestlers look worse than the average dude who hits the gyme a couple of times a week? If WWE was exclusively people like Lesnar, Walter, McIntyre or Lashley, it would be more watched, but it's Top Dolla, Doudrop, Johnny Gargano, Wheeler Yuta, Danhausen, Sammy Guevara, Sonny Kiss and CM Punk.
