what percentage of Retired wrestlers end up going broke? Is the pAy for wrestlers really that bad or are they just idiots that make Poor dEcisions?

They're still likely to blow their money the way most athletes do. The pay is okay if you're in WWE because even midcarders are getting mid-six-figures these days but if you consider that you spend your 20's working for a hotdog and a handshake and start getting too old at 45, you're basically forced to earn a lifetime of income in the span of 15 years.

Yes, it used to be very bad even in the E. Things have improved though and most wrestlers in AEW and WWE make a lot of money even if they are in the bottom tier.

Nash doesn't have that problem though. His WCW contract made him probably close to 10 million.

According to Maven's Youtube channel in his 3 or 4 years in the E he made a milly but after tax and all the expenses wrestelrs have to pay his total income was like 400k ove r4 years and considering most wrestling careers are short unless they have another skill or business it is easy to see why they go broke.
