David Finlay has been very iffy. He's certainly no Jay White or Kenny Omega or AJ Styles. He's good, but not on the same level.

We're in an era where Bullet Club is shining not through its leadership, but by the members in the lower classes.

Drilla Moloney sucks, but he has a great cunt energy and his backstage promos are fun.
Alex Coughlin is very green right now, but he also has great promos and a great look and is still very young. I think he has excellent potential.
Clark Connors is a great wrestler and delivering on good shit.

And Gabe Kidd is phenomenal. Cannot understate how good he is. Future main eventer material that will easily stand with all the top gaijin names in NJPW's history.

Naito won both IC and IWGP titles at WK 2020. He was called the double champion. NJPW was utterly terrified of having him just defending one belt because they were convinced the IC title stood along with the IWGP belt (probably because the IC belt was the WK main event one year?) So Naito, and every champion since, defended both belts at the same time. Eventually they were merged, created that shitty world title, and both lineages were scrapped for a new one. Kota was the double champion at this time and the storyline was that this was his idea, so all the fans were mad at him lmao. He proceeded to lose the world title in his first defense to osprey, who immediately vacated it due to injury, and Shingo won it and had a kino run.
If it sounds very retarded to be scared that the IC belt looks lesser than the IWGP belt, that's because it is. There were rumors that this was a new CEO's stupid idea too. Iunno. They should have just had Naito beat Ibushi for the IC belt to prevent a merger and make Naito's story with that belt beyond complete kino

Forbidden Door is basically non canon at this point. The only match that had any significance was Will getting the title back, but that because he's basically an AEW guy already (plus it involved him winning via AEW storyline means). Okada losing was pretty pointless unless they do a rematch
