The current narrative: nothing interesting happens, yet the WWE and its fans sell it like it's the greatest thing ever.
Example 1:
The biggest heel in the company right now is Dom Mysterio, (or so the WWE wants us to think with the piped in boos). I like Dom, but what exactly has he done that was so bad? Told his Mom to shut up? Turned on his dad for some goth pussy? Cheats to win like every heel in the history of heels? Yet people online act like he's the greatest heel of all time. Like anything he has done can be compared to all the shit Vince, HHH, Edge, Piper, Randy Orton, and so many others did. And I get it, the culture has turned soft and the WWE is afraid of pushing the envelope, but it's still embarrassing that a 26 year old with Mommy issues is the best heel the WWE can create.
Example 2:
Rhea is supposed to be the new Chyna. The WWE want us to think she's a badass, yet unlike Chyna, who took hits, nobody is allowed to touch Rhea. I watched her botch 3 times with Akira Tozawa, and not a single punch was thrown in their match. Who has Rhea beat since Wrestlemania to establish her dominance? Natalya and Dana Brooke. My impression is that Rhea is a huge pussy made of glass, someone prime Trish or Lita would bulldoze, yet the WWE tells me she is a future Hall of Famer and a Goat. This argument kinda applies to Roman, too.

I don't watch AEW, but I appreciate them for giving us throwbacks like Osprey vs Omega. I appreciate Aew for letting guys go out and riff on the mic, and get themselves over.
