The quality of this show has taken a nosedive in season 4. The Jannetty episode was really a let down. Do they have Bix contributing?

Bash at the Beach 2000 episode was the worst episode. Literally them digging at the bottom of the barrel trying to find "LE DARK" moments even though that moment wasn't really a huge detrimental event in the industry. Most people at the time liked the Russo worked shoot promo. WCW was already on its deathbed before 2000 and it was already decided by AOL they would be eventually sold.

They fucked themselves with the title. If they could broaden their options for topics but keep the same format, theyd be fine. But like others said, the bigger issue is access to good interviewees. They had Prichard on in season 1 for example but he refuses to do it after they covered something he didnt like. It was destined to fall off in quality bc its a mickraking show that reliesbon the testimony of insiders.

Just remember, they never did an episode on the Pat Patterson ring boy scandal. That is literally the darkest story in wrestling and they wouldn't touch it. The show is tabloid trash. It's actually even faker than wrestling itself.

Not really. There's plenty of stuff outside mainstream North American wrestling to cover. Some of the best episodes were niche topics: Onita, XPW, New Jack and Herb Abrams.

Hell, they could do insane episodes if they ever get into the lucha scene, but I think luchadors aren't all that willing to spill secrets, much like the japs.
