The plan right now, assuming Edge signs with AEW:
1. Edge will use the Adam Copeland name since he can't go by the name Edge in AEW.
2. Edge will make his debut in the FTR/Bucks match, basically crashing it and beating the shit out of the Bucks and giving Cash an injury to write him out until he gets his legal shit resolved. FTR will keep their belts during this period (Discovery vetoed an interim tag champion due to them realizing that interim champions are stupid) and Tony will create a new Dynamite tag titles for the Bucks to win to counter.
3. Edge/Christian won't happen right away. Plans are for Christian to be bitter and resentful towards Edge coming into AEW and upstaging him but they will eventually unite as common allies over time.
4. Edge will be on both shows but working mainly with Punk. Plan is to have Edge be the one to broach the issue of Punk being the real champion in his first major promo and dismiss MJF or Adam Cole (as there still is no winner decided internally at the time) as a fake champion and explicitly reference Brawl Out as a scam to oust Punk (since Punk can't say it himself).
5. Part of Edge's thing will be him declaring himself "The real star" of AEW and everyone else indy losers or WWE wash-outs.
6. Edge has turned down working with Omega, partly because Edge wanted to bury Omega and go into graphiic detail all of the reasons Omega sucks (the mudshow shit he did in Japan, his creepy relationship with Riho, and Edge shitting on NJPW by way of claiming that Omega keeps forcing the Jap shit onto North American fans because that was the only place that would hire a failure like Omega. While Moxley point blank refuses to work with Edge due to the fact that Edge is A. going to say Moxley's reign after Punk got stripped of the belt "is illegitimate" and B. call Moxley to his face a failure who couldn't make it in the WWE and C. Tony using the arrival of Edge to basically rewrite AEW history to make Punk the face of the company.
