His train of thought. He probably thought he could become UFC champion to prove WWE was wrong for releasing him. WWE would come crawling back admitting they were wrong on their hands and knees begging him to come back. He'd negotiate a bulletproof creative control deal like Hogan had in WCW and book himself like he does in AEW now.

His plan was:
