WWE heavily scripts every single step a superstar makes. They push who they want based on who they like. I like Dom, but do you think someone who looks like that and can't cut a promo/wrestler would be getting piped in reactions and be pushed if he wasn't Rey's son?

How can someone get over when they're not allowed to? Look what happens when people do get over without permission: Ryder, L.A. Knight, Mizdow, etc.

He actually got over in his singles push originally, but they had him in some silly stairs match bullshit and did nothing with him after.
He will always be based because of that story of Kenny Omega travelling to Harley Race's school because there was a tryout for a NOAH tour and Omega's dream was to work for NOAH. Omega ended up being made fun of by Harley Race for not being able to work, he got sent to the rookie ring to get out of the way and then Erick Rowan won and toured NOAH. Johnny Ace was there and signed Omega to Deep South.
