The Brits have been done since WWII and their diminished naval/military effectiveness. It’s become a services industry haven, and the 2008 banking crisis finished off the economy.
The men are weak, lonely and bored, crowded in a country the size of Alabama with 8x the population. They’ve become comical, with a charming accent but zero substance.
They started looking down at Americans years ago, but not live in poverty while the US has prospered and become an innovation hub (35 of the top 50 universities of the world sit in the States). Their fascination with American politics and sports is sad…I’m not shocked this lonely bunch of mediocre men packed a stadium to watch fake fighting. Their soccer teams are now full of foreigners as the soft, doughy Brits are historically awful athletes.
Enjoy the royals guys! Keep letting them have all that tax free real estate for playing dress up.
