Punk allegedly said: "We don't do that on Collision, and you just don't want to work Saturdays". - Flash forward to today, Perry does a spot with glass before hand he looks directly in the camera and says: "You see this? It's real glass. GO CRY ME A RIVER".

but this wasn't a problem, the crowd was up the whole show, between multiple garbage matches, down for the women, but still reacted to the bigger spots in that match and was super heated for the main. AEW constantly proves these outdated philosophies as being just that.

Yea it is a problem. Again the fandom can't critique anything because of some mental block that equates to "Oh then you want them to fail". Too many people that no gives a fuck about are doing shit that makes the crowd clap like seals. That leaves nothing for guys the company needs to push to actually draw in fans to do so that their matches stand out. Not everyone can be main event. Jack is mid card right now and that means being creative in finding ways to get over that dont involve spots that dont warrant his place on the card and the feud he is in. He should be concentrating on his promos. Get his heel gimmick over talking or not talking. Not by trying to do stupid stunts. That spot should knock him out for 3 months. That's how it should be booked. You want to do the spot? Cool. Now you're kayfabe out for 3 months. Enjoy.
