>>11324112I honestly don't see how anyone could not side with Punk here. Yeah we know he's difficult and has a bad temper, we know he's a bit of a cunt all round. But I fail to see how he's in the wrong. You have a bunch of guys constantly peddling bullshit and spreading unsupported rumors, being polite to Punk's face but playing chinese whispers with reporters behind his back, and getting themselves over on TV at his expense with the same shit. So Punk addresses it in public, for all to see, instead of going behind anyone's back or running to daddy Meltzer, Surprise surprise they get triggered, group up and get up in his face in his locker room without being invited in, and get their shit pushed in for their effort.
Jungle Boy incident last night is the exact same shit. Imagine getting triggered because someone told you not to use real glass in a fake fight. It really seems like the bucks and their clique want to run the company like a collage frat, with their in-grouping and vigorous circle-jerking, with no rules or authority. Then in comes Punk, a veteran who also happens to have some sway with Tony, and a bunch of pissy little babies get pissed off that there's someone who will gladly call them out on their bullshit and tell them where to stick it. They want AEW to be their little club where they can lick each other's ass and run amok with impunity, and they don't like that someone like Punk is willing to stand up to them.
